Why?
Ripe red tomatoes are generally safe as an occasional bite. Green tomatoes, stems, and leaves contain tomatine, which is toxic in larger quantities.

GI upset, weakness (large amounts of green parts).

Small ripe bites need no action. Large amounts of plant material warrant a vet call.
